On the night He was crucified, Jesus forewarned Peter that he and the other disciples would scatter and forsake their Savior. Of course, Peter protested in disbelief. But in a matter of hours, he publicly denied knowing who Jesus was and in so doing, experienced the worst failure of his life. But Jesus had not only predicted the failure, He had also assured Peter of something all of us need to know: failure isn't final!
